Social Intervention: Assisting People with Special Needs – Autism Spectrum Disorder
Partners of the Program: The INSHEA Institute for the Education of Young People with Disabilities (Institut National Supérieur de formation et de recherche pour l’éducation des jeunes Handicapés et les Enseignements Adaptés, INSHEA) in Suresnes.
Eligibility
The program is open to students who have passed all courses of a second-year bachelor’s program in the field of human and social sciences (psychology, education, linguistics, etc.), or who have obtained a higher diploma in health and welfare economics or a university diploma in social development (or any other equivalent diploma).
It is also open to continuing students (professionals such as special education teachers, nurses, childcare workers, psychomotor therapists) based on the quality of their applications.
Each semester has compulsory courses (UE).
1st semester, 6 compulsory courses
- Psychopathology of Autism Spectrum Disorder 1 (9 ECTS)
- Assistance and Intervention Techniques 1 (9 ECTS)
- Professional environments (3 ECTS)
- Psychopedagogy and Education (3 ECTS)
- Supervised Project 1 (3 ECTS)
- Supervised Professional Internship 1 (3 ECTS)
2nd semester, 7 compulsory courses
- Psychopathology of Autism Spectrum Disorder 2 (6 ECTS)
- Assistance and Intervention Techniques 2 (6 ECTS)
- Disabilities and the Law (3 ECTS)
- Business Environment (3 ECTS)
- Family and Institutional Analysis (3 ECTS)
- Supervised Project 2 (3 ECTS)
- Supervised Professional Internship 2 (6 ECTS)
